MOGILEV, 18 February (BelTA) – Mogotex took part in one of the world’s leading textile expos, Heimtextil 2019, that took place in Frankfurt am Mein. Fabrics of the Mogilev-based company were featured in the expo’s Trend Space, BelTA learned from the company.
All in all, 21 samples of Mogotex fabrics were selected by a team of design and trend experts who analyzed the latest tendencies and prepared trend themes that were shown at the fair. Heimtextil offered an overview of the latest European market developments and the trends for the coming year. These trends are Pursue Play, Seek Sanctuary, Go Off-Grid, Escape Reality, and Embrace Indulgence.
“Everyone knows that Germany is the economic powerhouse of Europe and one of the world’s leading fabric producers. Frankfurt am Mein hosts an annual showcase event for the global textile industry. This expo sets industry trends and tendencies for years to come. It offers a wealth of valuable experience, new solutions and partnerships. Therefore, we are proud that our products have won international recognition for several years in a row,” Mogotex Director General Viktor Matievich said.
The company’s pavilion featured decorative and furniture textiles. Visitors were particularly interested in linen-containing fabrics, as well as a new collection of tablecloths, and eco-friendly fabrics with a high content of organic threads.
On the sidelines of the expo, the company’s delegation held talks with representatives of over 30 foreign companies interested in Belarusian products.
This year the expo drew a record-high number of industry players. More than 3,000 textile producers from 65 countries showcased their products at the tradeshow. Over 67,000 people from more than 150 countries visited the event.
Founded in Frankfurt am Mein in 1971, Heimtextil is one of the industry's most important global events for interior textiles, interior design and interior trends. With its new products and trends, it kicks off the upcoming season and gives important impulses to both exhibiting companies and professional visitors from all over the world.
