MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – Minsk’s Frunzensky District and the Chinese city of Jilin have signed an agreement on interregional cooperation, representatives of the Frunzensky District administration told BelTA.
The sides have undertaken to advance cooperation in trade, economic, social and cultural affairs. Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets took part in the meeting, too.
A delegation of the People’s Republic of China led by the Jilin mayor is in Belarus on a visit on 8-9 July. While in Belarus they are expected to visit an infectious diseases hospital for children, several companies, and some places of interest in Minsk, including the Belarusian State Museum of History of the Great Patriotic War. Young trees will be planted in the alley of twinned cities in Tivoli Park.
