MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Minsk will host a Belarusian-Indian business conference on 22 November, BelTA learned from the organizers.
The conference is organized by the Coordinating Bureau for Foreign Economic Cooperation between Belarus and India of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
The conference will be held as part of the bilateral consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ministry of External Affairs of India scheduled for 22 November. The Indian delegation to the conference will include businessmen interested in establishing and strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation with Belarusian partners.
Belarusian and Indian entrepreneurs will partake in a business matchmaking session. India will be represented by companies working in such areas as organization of international trade missions, exhibitions, trade fairs and visits to India, production of mining equipment, mineral extraction, metallurgy, information technology, power engineering, finances, restaurant business, tourism, direct investment in space industry, oil and gas industry, mining industry, food industry, and pharmaceutical industry.
The Belarusian-Indian conference in Minsk will be a good chance to present Belarus’ export and investment potential to Indian businessmen, establish new contacts between Belarusian and Indian companies, and find promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in different economy sectors.
The Coordinating Bureau for Foreign Economic Cooperation between Belarus and India was set up in June 2016. It assists Belarusian and Indian economic entities with launching and promoting foreign trade and investment projects between Belarus and India, helps find potential business partners, organizes business meetings and negotiations, and develops programs for bilateral visits.
The Confederation of Indian Industry is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization coordinating business to promote the economic development of the country. It unites 242 regional associations and has over 10,000 member companies.
