MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Energy efficiency policy will be in focus at the 5th Belarusian-German Energy Forum due in Minsk on 10 October, reads the website of the Belarusian Energy Ministry.
The program of the forum envisages a plenary session “Current development of the Energy-Efficiency Policies in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Belarus” and two themed panel sessions which will consider sustainable energy supplies, the use of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency in buildings and other issues.
Among the participants are representatives of the Energy Ministry and the Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus, the Representation of German Economy in Belarus, the German Energy Agency (Dena), the diplomatic corps.
The participants of the event will have an opportunity to visit the facilities of the Belarusian energy system: Minsk Thermal Power Plant 2 and the electric substation Kolyadichi, and also the energy-efficient house in the Loshitsa 9 residential neighborhood in Minsk.
The forum is organized by the Belarusian Energy Ministry and the Architecture and Construction Ministry, the German Energy Agency and the Representation of German Economy in Belarus under the auspices of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.
