MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – The passenger numbers at Minsk National Airport exceeded 1.6 million in January-august 2023, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said during a joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
"Minsk National Airport is focused on attracting airlines, primarily Russian ones, and developing new destinations for passenger and cargo transportation. Flights are operated by 10 carriers on a regular basis," Anatoly Sivak said.
"In January-August 2023 Minsk National Airport accommodated 1,656,500 passengers, which was 28.5% up year-on-year," Anatoly Sivak noted.
