MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovich met with Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Ansar Aziz. The sides discussed prospects of signing the plan on bilateral cooperation between Minsk and Islamabad for the period till 2020, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

According to the source, the sides discussed prospects of signing the plan on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation between Minsk and Islamabad for the period till 2020.

The meeting also touched upon a broad spectrum of matters concerning interaction between the capital cities of Belarus and Pakistan, including within the framework of the agreement on twinning the two cities. The twinning agreement was signed in August 2015.
