MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Indian Business Forum will be held at the National Library of Belarus. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko and India President Pranab Mukherjee are expected to attend the event, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
A ceremony to unveil a plaque to commemorate the interaction between Indian and Belarusian experts on reconstruction of Grodno CHPP-2 will be held as part of the business forum. The forum will feature a presentation of investment opportunities of Belarus, and mechanisms for crediting, insurance and leasing in Belarusian machinery exports to India. The Health Ministry of Belarus will present joint Belarusian-Indian projects in pharmaceuticals.
The forum will be attended by about 100 people, including more than 40 representatives of the business community of India. Companies and organizations of the two countries are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents and contracts.
The forum has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
