MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) – Monthly passenger traffic at Minsk National Airport in July 2018 exceeded half a million passengers, BelTA learned from the airport's website.

For the first time in its history, the airport reported over 500,000 passengers within one incomplete month. The 500,000th passenger arrived on Belavia’s flight B2-927 Minsk-Krasnodar. The flight departed 00h40 local time on 30 July.

The passenger traffic at Minsk National Airport in July, which is not yet over, rose by 7.6% over the same period 2017. Since the beginning of the year Minsk National Airport accommodated 2.45 million passengers, which as of 30 July was up 8.5% compared to the same period a year prior.
