MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) - Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) has presented a new passenger bus for a test drive in Bishkek, BelTA learned from the company.
“The mayor's office of Bishkek and MAZ representatives reached an agreement, according to which a presentation of a new MAZ 206946 passenger bus was held in the city. The vehicle will be tested in Bishkek within three months. The bus for the test drive has been provided on a free basis,” the company said.
The semi-low-floor bus is designed for passenger transportation on city routes. It includes a hinged ramp for a wheelchair with a handle, a car body tilt system, and equipment to fix necessary devices for people with disabilities.
The 27-seat public transport is of Euro-5 environmental class. The length of the bus is 8.8m. It runs on a gas engine.
