MAZ Asia to assemble more Belarusian vehicles in Vietnam

MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – The joint venture MAZ Asia based in Vietnam is going to assemble more vehicles, the Belarusian embassy in Vietnam told BelTA.

The possibility was discussed during negotiations of Director of the International Relations Department of the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry Dang Huang Hong and Director of Au Viet Industry Company Nguyen Quang Hung. The negotiations took place at premises of the joint venture MAZ Asia in Hung Yen Province.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov, representatives of the relevant branches of the Public Security Ministry and the Hung Yen Province administration also took part in the meeting.

Future operation of the joint venture MAZ Asia was discussed as well as production of special-purpose vehicles at premises of the enterprise. Manufacturing of gear and equipment for Vietnamese firefighters using Belarusian materials was mentioned.
