Makei, Shuglya discuss Belarus’ exports to Tyumen

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Honorary Consul of Belarus to Tyumen, the Russian Federation Vladimir Shuglya on 16 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Tyumen Oblast, prospects of expanding Belarus’ exports to the Russian region and possible cooperation areas within the Consultative Council on Belarusians Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In January-April 2015 the trade between Belarus and Tyumen Oblast totaled $1150.5 million. Belarus’ main exports to the region include electric transformers, pipes, tyres, and trucks.
