Lukashenko visits Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant

MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – After visiting Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant and tasting condensed milk Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived at Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant, BelTA has learned.

The first thing the president wanted to discuss was the resource zones. He urged to efficiently use the available capacities and labor resources.

He also discussed a possibility of merging Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant with a similar enterprise in Miory. The head of state gave an instruction to study this issue carefully, because it is not a problem to merge two companies, it might be a problem to make them work more effectively. “What are you going to do in Miory if these companies are merged?” the president asked addressing the head of Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant.

“You have to make up your mind. We have such capacities and processing solutions! We have adequate sanitary control and other types of control,” the Belarusian leader said.

The head of state noted that he would further study this issue during a planned visit to a metal-rolling plant.

Aleksandr Lukashenko was also informed about the renovation of the meat processing plant, financial and economic indicators. The company operates with a profit and has great potential for further improvement.
