Lukashenko promises to sort out problems with delivery of farm equipment to Russia

Lukashenko promises to sort out problems with delivery of farm equipment to RussiaMINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko promised to sort out the problems with the delivery of Belarusian farm equipment to Russia. He answered the question of a journalist from Krasnoyarsk Krai during the press conference for the Russian regional mass media on 17 November, BelTA has learned.

In particular, the journalist asked about the quality of Belarusian farm equipment, and the training of corresponding personnel.

Alexander Lukashenko agreed that the quality can be improved. “But you should understand that people operate this equipment. You have mentioned KZS-7. This is our first harvester, we have tuned it up. New harvesters are very complicated. Excellent specialists, college graduates trained at Gomselmash operate this equipment,” the President said. Such specialists are aware of the weaknesses, the principles of work, because they saw the process of the harvesters’ assembly. It is needed to train workers, and there will be fewer problems, he noted.

The head of state also spoke about the service maintenance of farm equipment. Belarus has created a broad network of service centers, harvesters under warranty are repaired very quickly.

Belarusian equipment is often sold via mediators in Belarus, the President remarked. “You are saying that many people sell this equipment, but not many people provide service maintenance,” he said. The head of state assured that he will sort out the problems with the delivery and maintenance of Belarusian agricultural equipment to Russia.
