MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – I invited Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko to come to Vladivostok in the autumn and promised him to get a Belarusian trading center open by that time, Russia’s Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako told journalists following his meeting with Aleksandr Lukashenko on 25 March, BelTA has learned.
“We are planning to open a Belarusian trading house in Vladivostok in September,” Oleg Kozhemyako said. The opening might be timed to the visit of the Belarusian head of state.
“I believe everything will be ready in time for Aleksandr Lukashenko’s visit. From scratch. This will be a difficult task, but I hope we will be up to it,” Oleg Kozhemyako noted.
When asked whether Aleksandr Lukashenko has already scheduled his visit to Vladivostok, Oleg Kozhemyako recommended asking the Belarusian protocol service. “We invited the president to come in September and we will be ready to welcome him in September,” he added.
