Lukashenko extends Miner’s Day greetings to Belaruskali workers

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended Miner’s Day greetings to the workers of OAO Belaruskali and veterans of the potash industry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Mining industry is one of the key sectors for the country's economy. Thanks to your hard and responsible work Belarus is now the largest producer and supplier of potash fertilizers on the world market,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state noted that the valuable experience of several generations of miners, honed in difficulties and passed on to the youth, lets the Belaruskali team set the most ambitious goals and successfully achieve them.

“Without resting on your laurels, you are implementing a very important and necessary project today, which is the construction of a new mining and processing plant that will become another driver of the domestic mining and chemical industry. May your professionalism, strength of spirit, creative energy continue to promote the prosperity of Belarusians and prosperity of our land,” the president wished.
