MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – Istanbul will host Belarus Investment Forum on 12 to 13 November, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told journalists on 5 November, BelTA has learned.
The official opening ceremony will take place on 12 November. Attending the event will be high-ranking officials of Belarus and Turkey. The plenary session will be held in the form of panel discussions on Belarus’ macroeconomic status and investment climate. The program of the forum also includes presentations of the country’s investment platforms and investment projects currently underway in Belarus.
The program for 13 November features a number of business matchmaking sessions. Members of the Belarusian delegation will meet with representatives of Turkish companies. “Turkish businessmen, especially representatives of large companies already show interest in the forthcoming investment forum,” Dmitry Mironchik noted.
Belarus Investment Forum has been organized by the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus and the Foreign Economic Relations Board at the Ministry of Economy of Turkey with the support of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Belarusian Embassy in Turkey and the Consulate General in Istanbul.
