MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Consul General in Shanghai Valery Matsel presented the investment potential of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone as he spoke at the international investment forum devoted to cooperation with China’s Jiangsu Province in the context of the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Valery Matsel invited the participants in the forum to take part in investment projects in Belarus’ Mogilev Oblast and Gomel Oblast that have ties of friendship with Jiangsu Province.

The forum was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office and the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province in Shanghai on 15 January. It was attended by representatives of the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, businessmen, bank officials, and the heads of the consulates general accredited in Shanghai.
