MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – An international conference on topical problems and development prospects of valuation business will take place in Minsk on 14-15 May 2015, the press service of the State Property Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
Appraisers from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, Romania, the Baltic states and some other countries will gather in Minsk to discuss prospects of international cooperation. They will share the national experience of regulating valuation business, noted the source. The conference is organized by the group of companies Valuation and Appraisal Institute, the Association of Appraisal Organizations (Belarus), and the Belarusian State Technological University.
The conference is expected to focus on priority avenues in the development of state policy in the sphere of valuation activities, topical matters concerning the development of the industry in the Eurasian Economic Union and prospects of creating and assimilating modern information technologies. Apart from that, there are plans to determine the role, the state and prospects of self-regulating organizations, the main directions for improving the legislation on valuation business.
The conference is expected to gather representatives of government agencies, relevant departments of universities, financial institutions, representatives of Belarusian and foreign regulating agencies, and valuation business professionals.
