MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – According to preliminary estimates, enterprises run by the Belarusian Industry Ministry signed documents worth about $240 million on the sidelines of the international industrial expo Innoprom 2023 in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry told BelTA.
Results of participation of the Industry Ministry enterprises in the expo have exceeded expectations. Agreements, memorandums, and contracts in a broad range of avenues of cooperation were signed with Russian regions – cooperation in deliveries of products, components, organization of assembly enterprises, realization of investment projects, retooling, R&D cooperation, and other avenues.
As many as 45 enterprises run by the Industry Ministry were represented at Innoprom 2023. Six enterprises (MAZ, BKM Holding, Amkodor, Gomselmash, MTZ, and BelAZ) had dedicated stands that featured 21 vehicles and pieces of equipment in natural size. The combined stand of machine-tool enterprises included 17 machine-tools manufacturers. As many as 21 Industry Ministry enterprises (Mogilevliftmash, MMZ, BMZ, Integral, BATE, and other ones) were represented in the combined stand of industrial enterprises, with their products on display.
The stands of the Industry Ministry enterprises were met with strong interest and excitement among visitors of the expo. Up to 50 business meetings and strategic negotiations took place at each venue every day.
The forum resulted in new business contacts for Belarusian and Russian industrial enterprises. On the whole, the realization of the documents, which were signed during the forum, will contribute to advancing practical cooperation, to dynamics of trade relations, and to support for manufacturing cooperation projects of Belarus’ and Russia’s leading enterprises.
