MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – In June 2018 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.4% as against May 2018 and 102.9% as against December 2017, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In June 2018 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.5% in comparison with May 2018 and 102.1% in comparison with December 2017.
In June 2018 food prices inched up by 0.7% from May 2018 and 2.3% in comparison with June 2017. Non-food prices edged up by 0.1% from May 2018 and by 2.9% over June a year earlier. The index of prices and tariffs on paid services totaled 100.4% as against May 2018 and 109.7% as against June 2017.
