MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – A poll conducted by the Research Institute of the Economy Ministry in June suggests that heads of large industrial enterprises in Belarus believe that the growth in production volumes will remain in place, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
The company heads pointed to an increase in demand and prices for their products, a rise in output that was driven partly by solid demand abroad, and the preservation of a high capacity utilization rate.
More than a third of those polled reported a drop in stocks of finished products and an increase in profits.
The companies have orders for 3.3 months on average.
The outlook across key indicators remains positive. The respondents expect the growth in output, increase in demand and revenue, and preservation of the current level of employment in the short term.
