MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – The Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone has topped the list of industrial parks in the EAEU and neighboring countries, BelTA has learned.
BIK Ratings Agency conducted a study to assess and analyze the activities of industrial parks in the EAEU and neighboring countries. They analyzed 40 industrial parks from 10 countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Uzbekistan and Estonia.
The industrial parks were rated according to five groups of indicators: tax environment, infrastructure, conditions of entry, human development index in the country, macroeconomic and political environment. According to the results of the study the Great Stone topped the list.
The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
