Great Stone, Changchun development zone sign memorandum of cooperation

MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) - The administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone signed a memorandum on trade and economic cooperation with the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, BelTA learned from the press service of the park.

A ceremony of signing a memorandum on trade and economic cooperation between the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Great Stone administration and the industrial park development company was held in Great Stone. The document provides for building up close ties, organizing mutual visits, supporting the exchange of information on the development of special economic zones, governance, international trade and investment.

The event was attended by representatives of the Industry Ministry of Belarus, the Embassy of Belarus in China, the government and party bodies of the city of Changchun, the Minsk City Executive Committee and the China Overseas Development Association.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The park's priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
