KIEV, 21 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian agricultural machines manufacturer Gomselmash is set to increase sales on the Ukrainian market, Gomselmash director general Alexander Kamko told reporters on the margins of the Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum in Kiev, BelTA has learned.
“The Ukrainian market is very important for us, the sale potential is huge for out equipment there. Last year the sales of our vehicles more than doubled over 2015. We would like to see the same pace this year too,” Alexander Kamko noted.
According to him, at present Belarusian combine harvesters account for around 20% of the total sales of farm machines in Ukraine. “Today our grain harvesters sell well. We would like to increase the sale of forage harvesters,” Alexander Kamko said. “We would like to set up joint assembly plants. there So far we are holding our foothold thanks to the competitive advantages of our equipment: quality, service, price,” he added.
The Belarusian agricultural machines manufacturer Gomselmash and Trading House MTZ-Belarus-Ukraine sealed a deal to export 67 knockdown kits of combine harvesters KZS-1218A1.
