GOMEL, 4 September (BelTA) – Gomeloboi, a branch of CBK-Consult, is considering supplies of vinyl wall coverings to Turkey and Israel, head of marketing service of CBK-Consult Vitaly Skibunov told the media on 4 September, BelTA has learned.
According to Vitaly Skibunov, vinyl wallpaper is currently one of the most popular and profitable product. “It is an available material which is practical in everyday use. Vinyl materials are valued for their consumer properties, primarily for their durability and affordable price. There is a demand for such wallpaper both in our country and abroad,” he said.
About 70% of products are exported. Among the importers are almost all the regions of the former Soviet Union. The largest consumers are Russia (about 60%), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. Small batches go to the Baltic States. There is demand in Poland and Bulgaria.
The head of the marketing service said that there are prospects of cooperation with Turkish partners, and Israel is showing interest, too. “We are currently in talks. Each region has its own interest for design and types of wallpaper,” said Vitaly Skibunov.
The company is ready to promptly respond to the demands of customers and consumers. The company has developed a program for the production of exclusive wallpaper.
On average, the company produces 225,000 rolls of vinyl wallpaper per month. The factory's production volumes are fully formed to meet customer requests and incoming orders.
The vinyl wallpaper production line was installed at the factory in 2014. The main purpose of this investment project is to produce a full range of products from budget options to premium class ones.
Gomeloboi currently works in a three-shift mode. The future plans envisage a transition to 24/7 operation.
