MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – This year’s second full-scale round of talks on the accession of Belarus to the World Trade Organization will be held in Geneva on 11-15 September, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 7 September, BelTA has learned.
According to Dmitry Mironchik, the talks will include a meeting on state support of agriculture (12 September), the ninth meeting of the working group (13 September), negotiations on market access for goods and services with nine countries – WTO members.
The talks will be attended by representatives of a number of the Belarus government bodies. The Belarusian delegation will be headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Evdochenko. He is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the WTO working group on Belarus’ accession and the WTO secretariat.
