MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – The first official dealership to sell Geely cars has been opened in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Geely Center Minsk is located at 123 Timiryazeva Street. It will begin working by offering the crossover Geely Atlas NL3, which is assembled by the Belarusian-Chinese joint venture BelGee using the full-cycle manufacturing process.

For now the dealership offers only the Comfort option with the car. Apart from that, Geely Emgrand GT 1.8 AT Comfort cars are also available for Br53,980 a piece.

The first Belarus-made commercial car Geely Atlas NL3 was assembled on 17 November 2017.

Plans have been made for the Belarusian-Chinese joint venture to use the full fabrication cycle to also make the Geely NL4 crossover and the Geely FE3 sedan. All the cars will be fitted with either automatic gearboxes or manual gearboxes and will be compliant with the Euro-5 emissions standard. A four-wheel drive is an option of the Geely NL3 model.

The in-service trials for the Geely NL4 model are scheduled for January 2018, with the Geely FE3 model up for in-service trials in May 2018.

In 2017 the new car factory is expected to make about 1,800 vehicles. More will be made and sold in 2018. In 2018 and 2019 the new car factory is supposed to make 25,000 cars and 35,000 cars respectively.
