MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The French region of Midi-Pyrenees is interested in expanding business cooperation with Belarus. The matter was discussed during the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko and Midi-Pyrenees Prefect Pascal Mailhos, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed ways to bolster the trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Midi-Pyrenees. Pascal Mailhos pointed out that French regional companies are interested in developing cooperation with Belarus.
The Belarusian Embassy in France held a presentation of Belarus’ trade, economic, and investment potential at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Midi-Pyrenees. The presentation was organized with the assistance of the association Belarus-Midi-Pyrenees. Pavel Latushko also met with representatives of French companies eager to carry out investment projects in Belarus.
The press service also said that a photo exhibition dedicated to Belarus’ Brest and Brest Fortress has opened in the French city of Toulouse. The exhibition was organized by the association Belarus-Midi-Pyrenees.
