MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – A big business delegation headed by Under-Secretary of State at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs Matti Anttonen will visit Belarus on 22-24 April, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.
The delegation will include representatives of some 20 Finnish companies. They will hold meetings in the Belarusian ministries and organizations. The main areas of potential cooperation that the Finnish business is interested in are energy, transport and logistics, agriculture and forestry, woodworking.
According to Dmitry Mironchik, on 23 April Minsk will host the Belarusian-Finnish Business Forum and a business matchmaking event organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the export promotion organization Finpro.
