MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – Free Economic Zone Minsk and Iran’s Maku Free Zone have signed a memorandum of cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Free Economic Zone Minsk.
The document is aimed at expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation, including participation in joint projects, business events, trade and investment missions.
The signing ceremony was held as part of the business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Tehran, organized by the Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Belarusian embassy in Iran.
At the Iran-Belarus business forum on 16 October, First Deputy Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration Sergei Bubenko presented to Iranian companies the investment potential of the free economic zone and areas for cooperation between Belarusian and Iranian enterprises.
The Belarusian delegation visited Maku Free Zone as part of the program of the visit. In the course of B2B negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
