GRODNO, 8 October (BelTA) – An Irish investor plans to develop a network of photovoltaic power stations to provide residents of the Grodnoinvest free economic zone with renewable energy, BelTA learned from the FEZ Administration.
Skywatt registered as a free economic zone resident on 8 October. The main idea of the investment project is construct photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of over 12MW within FEZ Grodnoinvest area. Investment will exceed €5 million.
“The project will provide consumers, including Grodnoinvest residents will green energy and help reduce the cost of their products. This approach will also allow to establish cooperative relations with international concerns that impose requirements to use energy from renewable sources,” the FEZ Administration said.
