MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Mongolia have signed an intergovernmental general agreement on providing an export loan to enable deliveries of Belarusian machines, vehicles, equipment to Mongolia, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The document was signed as a Belarusian delegation visited Mongolia. The delegation was led by Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov and included representatives of MTZ, MAZ, Gomselmash, Bobruiskagromash, Mogilevliftmash, Pozhsnab, and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
Members of the delegation met with representatives of the Mongolian ministries of food, agriculture, light industry, finance, road development and transport, emergencies as well as representatives of the Ulaanbaatar city administration, representatives of several Mongolian companies, which are interested in buying Belarusian machines, vehicles, and equipment.
In the next few years representatives of Belarus and Mongolia are expected to arrange deliveries of fire-fighting equipment, agricultural machines, municipal vehicles, road construction and road cleaning machines, passenger lifts, and railway cars.
The sides also agreed the date for the next session of the Belarus-Mongolia commission on trade and economic cooperation. The session will take place in June 2019.
