MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – The European Union and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Belarusian Economy Ministry has launched an online program for entrepreneurs Startup School, BelTA learned from the press service of the UNDP Office in Belarus.

Startup School is a chance to enhance the level of your knowledge, get practical skills in business planning, and test a business idea with a guidance of experienced experts.

The program consists of a video course, materials and individual counseling. The video course and materials cover the most relevant topics for business: business planning, legal foundations and taxation. Financial management consultants will talk about preparing a financial model, evaluating the effectiveness of results and risk analysis. Participants who have successfully prepared business plan concepts for implementation in the pilot areas of the project will have access to individual consultations with business experts.

“Efforts to enhance economic growth for sustainable development should be accompanied by improving the skills of entrepreneurs. Growth of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions is one of the strategic priorities. By providing beginners and existing entrepreneurs with access to distance learning, we help them acquire new knowledge in the areas of resource efficiency, risk assessment and investment attraction,” said UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus, Alexandra Solovieva.

Access to the video course and materials is available after registration at https://tinyurl.com/startup-school.

The distance learning program Startup School has been prepared under the project “Support to Economic Development at the Local Level in the Republic of Belarus”.
