Eurasian Industrial Fund now resident company of Belarusian Hi-Tech Park

MOSCOW, 2 September (BelTA) – The Eurasian Industrial Fund, which was created by the Eurasian Economic Union member states, has become a resident of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park, BelTA learned from Iya Malkina, spokeswoman of the Eurasian Economic Commission, on 2 September.
The official said: “The advancement of manufacturing cooperation and the realization of joint projects in the real sector are important directions for the commission. The Eurasian network of industrial cooperation, subcontracting, and technology transfer is one of the projects. This year Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich has signed an agreement on launching its implementation. The main goal is to create a digital ecosystem to enable interaction between commercial entities of the EAEU member states.”
Iya Malkina went on saying: “All the conditions for the successful realization of the project have already been enabled. The countries have chosen authorized agencies and have appointed national operators of the network. Bodies of the Eurasian Economic Commission have passed the necessary legislation, including technical design specifications for implementing the project. Last year the EAEU countries set up the International Eurasian Industrial Fund, which will realize this project through joint efforts. Its founders are the national operators of the project from each EAEU country. The fund is registered as a resident in the Hi-Tech Park in the Republic of Belarus.”
According to Iya Malkina, this project will be implemented in 2021-2022. It will allow building up the manufacturing potential for making innovative products with a high added value. This platform will help manufacturers find contractors to sell products in addition to allowing them to promote their technologies. The Eurasian Economic Commission’s budget has appropriated over RUB150 million for these goals.
