Enterprises of Belarus, Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast sign cooperation agreements

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 22 November (BelTA) – A number of bilateral documents were signed after the 18th session of the council for business cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, BelTA has learned.

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Gleb Nikitin signed an action plan for the 2024-2026 period in order to implement the 2021-2026 program on advancing cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. They also signed the resulting protocol of the 18th session of the council for business cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

A ceremony took place to sign an agreement on establishing friendly ties between Lida District, Grodno Oblast, Republic of Belarus and Volodarsk Municipal District, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russian Federation. Chairman of the Lida District Executive Committee Sergei Lozhechnik and Head of the Volodarsk Municipal District Local Self-Government Gennady Shchannikov took part in it.

The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ and the Agriculture and Food Resources Ministry of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast signed a cooperation agreement. It was signed by MTZ Deputy Director General for Marketing, Marketing Director Mikhail Kadnikov and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Agriculture and Food Resources Minister Nikolai Denisov.

Director General of OAO Machine-Tool Plant Krasny Borets Vitaly Krutko and Director General of OOO PK Velam-Rus Aleksei Smirnov signed a dealership agreement between the two companies.

RUP Beltamozhservice and OOO Digital Space signed an agreement. First Deputy Director General of RUP Beltamozhservice Aleksandr Skachkovsky and Director of OOO Digital Space Artyom Trakhin took part in the ceremony.

22 November is the third day of the working visit of Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko to the Russian Federation. The government delegation is working in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. The prime minister attended a presentation of the first electrobus MiNiN and took part in the 18th session of the council for business cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
