Energy Ministry: BelNPP technological systems operating nominally

MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) - All technological systems of the Belarusian nuclear power plant are operating nominally, BelTA reports citing the Belarusian Energy Ministry.

The Start-Up stage continues at the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. It provides for the operation of the unit at different levels of capacity (up to 500 MW), and verification of the stability of the energy system at its repeated decrease.

"The tests, which are carried out in accordance with the Start-Up stage, have revealed the need to replace individual electrotechnical measuring equipment. These works are carried out in accordance with the technological regulations. Currently, tests and works are being performed on the unit in accordance with the stage-wise program," the ministry said.
