MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko heard out a report of Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman on 13 August, BelTA has learned.
Viktor Sheiman reported on the progress with fulfilling the president’s instructions which include the construction of a facility to produce plastic skis. The construction works are proceeding as planned. The facility will be commissioned in October.
The head of state was updated on the status of a number of construction projects. Several facilities built as part of these projects are already up and running.
Financial administration of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate was also on the agenda. A task was set to develop financial instruments to streamline the operations of the directorate.
The parties also discussed establishment of a top-notch endoscopic center at the National Medical Center. This center will offer world-class medical solutions to patients suffering from spinal cord diseases, urological problems and complicated ENT disorders.
Viktor Sheiman also told the Belarusian head of state about the work on the African continent. For example, the project to set up a joint company that will produce and process milk, beef and poultry is nearing completion. The construction of a solar power plant is under consideration. Work is underway to establish a forwarding company in southern Africa and a company to build roads and power grids.
