Egypt interested in Belarus' participation in social and economic projects

MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentiev met with President of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Mahmoud Sakr, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt.

The parties discussed the state of the Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the field of science, interaction between the national academies of sciences within the framework of the current joint projects.

The president of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology spoke about the interest in using the potential of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the framework of important projects to promote the social and economic development of Egypt.

An agreement was reached to organize a visit of Mahmud Saqr to Belarus in 2022 as the head of a delegation of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
