MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Senior officials of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with Abdulla Baqer, Regional Director of Middle East and CIS at Dubai Chambers. During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation between Dubai and the Republic of Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Abdulla Baqer proposed to organize a business mission to Belarus in 2025 and invited Belarusian enterprises to participate in major international events held in Dubai. Separately, he stressed the importance of digitalization and the development of the IT sector in Belarus, inviting digital companies to participate in the annual digital forum in Dubai.
Food security and the development of tourism, including medical tourism are among the priorities for the United Arab Emirates. Abdulla Baqer noted that Belarus’ tourism sector is known for the quality of services that are in great demand.
In addition, the prospects for cooperation in education were discussed, namely increasing the attractiveness of education in the Republic of Belarus for foreign students.
