MINSK, 6 March (BelTA) - The Belarusian export program for 2024 prioritizes the markets of geographically distant countries and friendly states, Belarusian Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar said during the outcome board meeting of the ministry, BelTA has learned.
Yuri Chebotar spoke about the tasks in terms of regional development, support for entrepreneurship, removing obstacles and barriers to domestic products in the Russian and Eurasian markets, increasing merchandise exports to China.
"The export programs, both last year and this year, target the markets of geographically distant countries and friendly states. Russia is our number one market. The second most important partner is the People's Republic of China. African countries are also among our priorities," the minister said.
