DBRB to open program to finance Belarusian-Chinese projects

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – OAO Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) intends to start a program to finance Belarusian-Chinese joint projects using foreign credit resources, the Bank’s press service told BelTA.

In the near future the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will be granted the ability to give preferential loans to economic operators for up to 15 years. A respite of up to five years will be available for paying the principal sum. The DBRB is now taking applications for financing Belarusian-Chinese joint projects.

The program will be designed to support clients in the private sector and the public sector of Belarus, including small and medium enterprises. Investment projects that envisage the supply of merchandise and services from the People’s Republic of China are accepted for consideration.
