GRODNO, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Grodno Oblast is hosting a business delegation from Czechia’s Central Bohemia who have come to study the investment, education, construction and tourism potential of the region, BelTA learned from the Grodno Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The visit of the Czech business delegation to Grodno will run through 5 October. It has been organized by the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries. The Czech government officials and businessmen attend meetings at the administration of the free economic zone Grodnoinvest, Yanka Kupala Grodno State University, and visit tourist attractions. The program of the visit has been prepared bearing in mind that the delegation is interested in the activities of Grodno-based companies that build ‘smart homes’, the bilateral cooperation in science and research, and the prospects for boosting the flow of tourists between the two countries.
“This is our second meeting with representatives of Central Bohemia since the signing of the agreement on cooperation between the regional offices of the chambers of commerce and industry in 2015. The CCI has working groups tasked with promoting the business cooperation between the two countries, establishing contacts, and boosting mutual trade,” Alexander Avgustinovsky, Senior Specialist with the External Economic Relations Department of the BelCCI Grodno Office, noted.
