MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – The amount of contracts signed as a result of Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko’s visit to the Republic of Karelia and Murmansk is roughly estimated at $100 million, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.
On 24-26 May, Belarus’ government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko paid a working visit to Petrozavodsk and Murmansk.
During his visit to Petrozavodsk, the Belarusian head of government met with Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov and attended the 2nd Karelia international stone processing forum Karelforum 2023. Roman Golovchenko also toured local enterprises.
After that, the prime minister of Belarus met with Murmansk Oblast Governor Andrei Chibis and discussed options for building a port in Murmansk.
