MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – The Chinese company Lutta-Pak is considering the possibility of setting up an enterprise to make high-tech packaging in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry told BelTA.
Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko met with Lutta-Pak Director General Che Guoling. Top officials of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, the administration of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, OAO Management Company of the Holding Belorusskie Oboi, the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom took part in the meeting, too.
Participants of the meeting discussed the possibility of setting up an enterprise to make high-tech packaging in Belarus, the business operation terms and the investment terms Belarus offers, the most suitable locations for the future enterprise, plans concerning future cooperation, including with Belarusian producers of dairy products and juice products, stages of the project’s implementation.
Bilateral documents were signed on cooperation with the Agriculture and Food Ministry and OAO Management Company of the Holding Belorusskie Oboi.
Lutta-Pak Company is based in the city of Qingdao, China. The company focuses on global manufacturing and sales of paper-based packaging materials for liquid food products. The company is a specialized commercial vendor of solutions for production and installation of entire manufacturing lines and equipment for packaging fruit juices and milk.
