MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – The Chinese company China Datang Technologies & Engineering Company (CDTE) may take part in the implementation of investment projects of the Minsk Oblast electrical company Minskenergo, representatives of the Belarusian company told BelTA.

Cooperation prospects were discussed as a delegation of the Chinese company visited Minsk.

CDTE is one of China’s top five electricity producers. It was founded on the basis of State Power Corporation of China in 2002 and reports directly to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The company also acts as an experimental state investment company and a joint-stock company.

The possibility of CDTE taking part in the implementation of Minskenergo’s investment projects was discussed during the meeting. Possible financing options were mentioned as well.
