MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB) has permitted the China Development Bank (CDB) to open a representative office in Minsk. The decision is stipulated by the NBRB Board’s resolution No.256 of 5 June 2018, the NBRB Information and Public Relations Office told BelTA.
The China Development Bank representative office will be opened in the Belarusian capital in order to examine possibilities for advancing trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The China Development Bank was registered on 1 July 1994.
At present there are four representative offices of foreign banks in Belarus, including two from Russia and one from Germany. There is also a representative office of the Interstate Bank.
