NESVIZH, 5 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ town-planning practices can be of interest to the People’s Republic of China, BelTA learned from Jiang Xuesong, a journalist of the Chinese newspaper Harbin Herald, who is on a press tour in Belarus.
According to the Chinese reporter, this is his first visit to Belarus and that he has already learned a lot. “I liked Minsk most of all. The city impresses with its wide avenues, beautiful buildings. You have a good green zone in the center of the city. I believe you have an advantage in the town-planning industry and this experience can be useful for us,” the journalist said.
“Chinese people know a lot about Belarus. We are interested in developing bilateral contacts,” the Chinese reporter said. The journalist stated that during the current press tour he got familiar with the biggest bilateral projects, including the Great Stone Industrial Park. “I believe this is only the beginning of our cooperation,” he added.
Chinese journalists are in Belarus on a week-long press tour which is to last through 7 May. They have already visited a number of companies, including the joint car factory BelGee, BelAZ, the Great Stone Industrial Park, the Hi-Tech Park, the agricultural companies Agrokombinat Snov and Ozeritsky Agro. The foreign guests were also taken on a tour around Mir and Nesvizh Castles.
