China-Belarus industrial park resident company interested in commercializing R&D results

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Anzhelika Nikitina and Director General of OOO Chinese-Belarusian High-Tech Aerospace Research and Development Center (OOO KBVATsIR) Li Ping have discussed initiatives for commercializing R&D products, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.

Anzhelika Nikitina and Li Ping discussed avenues for advancing Belarus’ cooperation with the company. The Chinese side expressed interest in realizing a number of initiatives in Belarus that involve the commercialization of R&D products and suggested considering the possibility of creating demonstration zones for innovation and entrepreneurship.

OOO KBVATsIR was registered as a resident company of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone on 21 December 2018. The company intended to implement a project to create a Chinese-Belarusian high-tech aerospace R&D center. The company was created upon the initiative of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).
