MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – The channel of Belarus’ National Pavilion on the Douyin platform (a social media platform that allows users to create and share short videos) has gained one million subscribers, BelTA learned from the press service of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone.
The channel is the project of the Industrial Park Development Company and Chinese partners. It has become one of the largest foreign educational resources in social media. The tasks of the channel include the promotion of Belarus among Chinese users.
The channel of Belarus’ National Pavilion on Douyin was launched in May last year. Since then, 357 short videos have been posted there about the culture, traditions, history, prominent natives and sights of Belarus. The channel regularly hosts Belarusian and Chinese bloggers. The channel is also a point of sale of Belarusian goods to consumers from China.
In addition to Douyin, the National Pavilion is presented on several other popular online platforms in China, including online marketing platforms and video hosting sites.
