MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – The Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture signed a cooperation agreement during a business trip of the Minsk delegation to Tehran, BelTA learned from the BelCCI press service.
An Iran-Belarus business forum took place during the visit. Director General of the Minsk branch of BelCCI Sergei Nabeshko made a presentation “The Republic of Belarus is your reliable partner” where he highlighted business opportunities and instruments to help Belarusian and Iranian businesses to ramp up trade. Head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Mahmoud Najafi Arab expressed interest in building inter-chamber cooperation, which will serve the best interests of the two countries.
Following the official part of the business forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Minsk branch of BelCCI and the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. The document is expected to give an additional impetus to the development of Belarus-Iran business relations. The signing ceremony was followed by business talks. During the business trip, representatives of Belarusian enterprises visited the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, as well as a number of Iranian companies.
